Cheapest I Can Buy Canon PowerShot SD4000IS 10 MP Reviewed by Peeeeter (USA)
Two weeks in front of the S4000 is out, I bought SD1200. I waited for SD4000 and scheduled for approval by the SD1200. How does it compare? First the advantages:
- SD4000 is fully acicular more central angle of bend (much larger SD850 and SD1200)
- ISO400 and 800 are compact totally real accessible (SD1200 great progress and added)
- Beautiful screen
Now the drawbacks:
- If the zoom to 3.8x, the account has exceeded acute soft. English or apparent: it is not clear. To be clear, I do not agree 100% crop to see or to compare side by side. And I do not talk about the day is a zoom. Naively research for port amazed me: soft, fuzzy, not sharp, naively terrible. I added sharpness in camera, but it was not enough around. It 'was really ugly.
- It's not like boots that can be (good result and I think the SD1200 is abundant added Compact)
- That the comments and added that, the buttons and run navigatin airheadedg many cumbersome steps (with a small dial, ultra-sensitive).
Since the pictures were 3.8 x completely useless, it was a clear no-go. To my surprise, I liked the SD1200, but I have the wide angle and high ISO quality of the SD4000 lose. Maybe it was a bad copy?! Note that there is another review here that complained about softness, so there seems to be unique.
I'll try another copy later when the price dropped and the Canon has more experience with it.
Bottom line: I give one star, because the car was simply unusable. As mentioned, other features are good too large, but with a rear camera is not worth more than a star in my opinion. It 's the first time I put a camera (and 6 myself! 2SLRs, a 12x zoom, compact 3).
